Welcome to my corner of the digital world!
I'm Kihresha, hailing from the vibrant city of Cleveland and currently definitely able to hail a taxi in NYC without any assistance, so basically a new-yorker.
I’m thrilled to share a small glimpse into my world.
A Bit About Me: When I'm not igniting the improv stage, you'll probably find me immersed in co-op RPG video games, strategizing a killer hand in Texas Hold 'em, or deep into the captivating world of true crime podcasts, specifically Last Podcast on the Left and Crime Junkie. Oh, and speaking of podcasts, don't forget to check out my mine, Sounds Funny Radio!
My background is in acting. I got my BFA from Ohio University and I always considered myself to be a “dramatic actress” meant for the stage. My journey into the world of improv was an unexpected twist of fate – I was practically forced into it! But that introduction truly transformed my life. Falling in love with the art of improvisation at Florida Studio Theatre was a turning point. Now in addition to performing I also teach improv at the Second City in Brooklyn.
Threads of Humanity and the Fabric of Connection: My artistic philosophy is deeply rooted in the tapestry of human experiences. Just like individual threads, each one of us is unique, yet the thread of human connection weaves us all together. This belief is the heart of my passion for storytelling. Whether I'm working behind the scenes, stepping onto the stage, or facing the camera, I'm driven by the desire to explore the intricate stories that reside within us all.
Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to get to know me better. Feel free to keep exploring my website and connect with me on social media. Let's embark on this enchanting journey together – where creativity knows no bounds and laughter is always the best companion.
Here's to the art of storytelling, the joy of improv, and the magic of human connections!
